The Walking Dead is a five-part episodic game series set in the same universe as Robert Kirkman’s award-winning comic books featuring Deputy Sheriff Rick Grimes. While the other episodes are still paid, Episode 1 would be well worth your time as it still tells a good story and might even compel you to buy the future episodes. The game is still free on the App Store, and again, it would be a safe bet to assume that it will remain free in celebration of Christmas and New Year. This is more or less what Telltale did with the iOS version of the game earlier this month.
